Letizia Cariello

Subtle connection between isolation and painful confinement



Letizia Cariello was born in Copparo, Italy, in a family originally from Naples and devoted to sculpture for over two hundred years. She graduated in Art History in Milan under the supervision of Pierluigi De Vecchi and she graduated in Painting at Brera under the supervision of Pietro Plescan. She has worked for the cinema in Italy and the United States. She lives and works in Milan, where she teaches Anatomical Drawing at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. Her affiliated galleries are Galleria Massimo Minini in Brescia, Italy and Artrust in Switzerland.

Her artworks are displayed in exhibitions and museums on important national and international occasions and can be found in numerous public and private collections in Italy and abroad, including:
